The printing process
Veenman divides the printing process into three parts: prepress, press and after press. These stages represent the preparation for printing, the printing itself and the finish. During each phase, we work with specialists of the trade, the most modern techniques, installations and equipment. We are happy to show some of our procedures here to those familiar with the trade.
Preparation (prepress)
If you make sure do the necessary preparation, your work is already half done. Veenman therefore pays a lot of attention to preparing the material for the printing press. Thanks to advanced software system, technical expertise and a state-of-the-art Computer to Plate installation, we can achieve the highest possible printing quality. At the prepress department, the supplied (digital) material is checked as it comes in and is made ready for printing, so that all images and words have the perfect colours and clarity as they go to press. Corrections to the words or design can still be made at this stage.
Printing
Veenman Drukkers’ up-to-date printing presses guarantee high-quality prints. Everything at the printing workshop is aimed at achieving the best possible printed result. On time and within budget. The printer is in close contact with the people at the company office. They act as spiders in a web and monitor everything.
Finish (after press)
We only work with specialists of the trade to ensure a perfect graphical finish for your prints. For every product we search and find the right finish method.
